as many of you know, a ladder reset is on it's way, but for the first time in history, there will actually be no single-player patch release, as we are all used to.
But have no fear. This ladder season will bring us an exclusive realm-patch with some cool features that will be listed below. A realm-patch is essentially the patch run by the gameservers, which means players will be able to play with the new features without requiring an update.

» Level Challenge 1 level requirement fixed.
» Drop rates have been re-balanced. Additionally, class specific items have now a lesser chance to be magical (or higher) compared to regular items.
» Fixed Athulua spawning from the trap at Tran Athulua.
» Re-balanced werewolf druid and some mana mechanics that were not working as expected.
» Fixed a game-breaking bug when using liche form combined with graveyard.
» Removed useless Divine Apparition proc from Uldyssian, replaced with... Hoof Stomp. Modified AI to be less agressive but now he walks.
» Increased life and damage from the Startled Witch.
» Buffed storm amazon.
» Trickster boots will now add %fire spell damage rather than cold.
» Longview secret runeword now adds +25 damage rather than +200-400
» Cubing a gem with character orb will now return a chipped gem after the 15th roll.
» Other miscellaneous changes.
But that is not all. The most relevant improvements are:
1) New runeword type: Epic Runewords. These are a remastered, more powerful version of existing runewords (from all levels). There are dozens of them. Can figure them all out?
2) Max level for all characters is now 125. These levels will provide characters even more stats and skill points, and some extra orb space - and if that's not enough - you can even have your mercenary wear a Natasha's Legacy, how cool is that? These 5 bonus levels are very difficulty to obtain! If any, who will be the first 125?
